Being a registered user of Job Universe you will no doubt be aware of the changing times we find ourselves in; sometimes exciting and sometimes challenging. At FMBG it is our business to keep abreast of this rapidly changing world so that we can offer our customers the best possible experience in their interaction with the world of ICT and business through print, online and through our extensive events programmes.

Recently, through our ongoing analysis of the markets we work within and feedback about the user experience with our products, we have reached a crossroads in the way we tackle careers in ICT and business here at FMBG. At the end of March, we will be redistributing resource within our group to tackle a new and exciting way in which to focus on the jobs market. Due to the new opportunities on the horizon, we have decided to close the site Job Universe as we redeploy its resources within our online environment.

Our careers section on Computerworld.co.nz has gained enormous momentum since its inception at the end of 2008. We will continue to keep you fully informed through this online medium as well as the through the pages of your regular fortnightly fix of Computerworld in print. We would also be keen to hear from you if you are one of those who found a position through Job Universe as this may help influence our new direction.

The past 10 years since the launch of Job Universe have undoubtedly been exciting and rapidly changing and we now look to the future with great anticipation and enthusiasm as we embrace the new challenges ahead.
